Proprietary trading

We trade our own capital.

A proprietary desk in the classic sense: no clients, no outside money, nothing for sale. Just markets and discipline.

A proprietary firm answers to no one but its own risk limits. That freedom is the whole advantage, and it lasts exactly as long as the discipline does.

How the desk thinks

Risk is decided first.

Position size comes from the loss we are prepared to take, set before the trade. Never from the gain we hope for.

Process over prediction.

We do not forecast. We define the conditions we want, act when they appear, and stand aside when they do not.

Small losses are the cost of business.

A losing trade that respected its stop was a good trade. The only unacceptable loss is an undisciplined one.

The journal is the edge.

Every trade is recorded and reviewed. Patterns in the record are worth more than opinions about the market.

The desk

Taurus Wave is small by design. Decisions are made by the people who carry the risk, at the screens, in real time.

There is no sales team, no client book, and no product. The firm has one obligation: to trade well.
